An unexpected Occupational Health Advisor's post has become available at the University of Exeter. We are looking for an experienced, ideally full-time, OH Advisor to fill this post (to begin March / April 2010). This person must hold an OH degree, or equivalent, and be confident and experienced enough to work independently. There is minimal OH Physician involvement in this service. The university employs approximately 2,800 staff. This includes academics, lecturers, researchers, technical staff, manual workers and ancillary staff. Staff are sited over 3 beautiful campuses (2 in Exeter and 1 in West Cornwall). The OHA salary band starts at £31K per annum (pro-rata for part-time employees). There is a generous annual leave entitlement (30 days for full-time staff, pro-rata for part-time staff) and this is exclusive of all bank holidays. The university has a superannuated pension scheme and on-site sports facilities. The successful person will be based on the main campus (Streatham) in Exeter, where they will have their own office.
